It is a pure honour and privilege for us, to host these two; the founders of Mysore KL and devoted practitioners of Yoga.Each of them has dedicated over a decade of life to follow the path and share the method of Ashtanga.

Finding Balance Between Strength & Mobility. Learn key techniques to every asana in your practice with valuable information that applies to all levels in this workshop. In exploration of how we can find freedom thru engagement for a focused and sustainable yoga practice for life.

ABOUT:
YAN
Yan has been teaching ashtanga full time for the past 10 years. She’s an authorised level 2 teacher, practitioner and owner of Mysore Room in Kuala Lumpur.
She moved to Mysore, India in 2010 living there for 4 years, studying with Paramaguru Sharath Jois at the Ashtanga Institute & ancient yoga philosophy scripture, returning annually to deepen her learning.
In the past decade she has brought gift of yoga across the globe to over 10 countries spanning 4 continents. She has conducted classes, philosophy lectures, workshops, festival events, owned a shala, hosts a yoga book club & podcast. Yan’s teaching, writing & talks are energised by her wealth of experience & unique perspective, bringing a fun & exciting approach to ancient yoga teachings to spark curiosity into ourselves. While the world dives deep to gain knowledge, she prefers we take a moment and come up for air to experience life.
MANUEL
Manuel has been practicing Yoga since 1998, with almost 20 years teaching experience he believes that yoga practice is adaptable to every lifestyle and body type. It is a strong message within his teachings to learn the art of intelligent movement with a healthy attitude as a practitioner. Manuel’s years of experience traveling and teaching around the world gives him the ability to teach the complete beginner athletes to pregnant students. He strives to teach the Ashtanga method as it was been taught to him, while also adapting to meet the individual needs of all students.
